Job Purpose
To support banking & treasury activities at Royal Enfield
Key Responsibilities
Foreign exchange risk management activities (including exposure/risk identification, formulation and execution of hedging strategies, accounting and compliance)
End-to-end commodity price risk management activities
Provide insights / analysis to senior management to support risk management decision making
Implementation of Treasury and Risk Management system for Foreign Exchange (FX) & Commodities
Performance reporting, (Expand MTM) MTM valuation and other MIS reports on hedge positions
Contribute to and enhance overall risk management initiatives taken by Treasury
Investment of surplus funds as per board mandated instruments (FDs, mutual funds & bonds)
Develop and maintain new and existing relationships with banking & financial institutions.
Liaise with internal and external auditors for various audit processes
Contributory role in managing the operational aspects of banking & treasury. The role entails a mix of internal and external stakeholder interactions with a key aim to carry out banking & treasury operations within the overall framework of “Governance, Proprietary, Risk Mitigation and Safety”
To uphold and maintain the highest standards of governance and proprietary within the overall approved framework of safety and risk management
To implement best practices from a banking & treasury standpoint, identify areas of potential risks and mitigate them
Be responsible for identifying areas of opportunities to efficiently manage FX & Commodity price risks
Work Experience
Education
MBA Finance / Chartered Accountant
Good interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively
Experience
5-7 years of experience in FX / Commodity price risk management from large corporate treasuries
Hands on experience on Reuters, Bloomberg, SAP & any other (Expand) TRM systems
Strong analytical and technical skills
Strong hold on macro economic variables impacting interest rates, FX, & commodities
Thorough on compliance with respect to FEMA, RBI, Ind AS and other regulatory guidelines
