PURPOSE:
As a Global Information Systems SAP Commerce / HYBRIS Lead Developer your role is to act under moderate direction, performing activities including hands on solution design, development, code review.Need to be hands on technical delivery as an individual contributor and involve in active technical support as it relates to both day to day operations as well as moderately complex projects & enhancements in the eCommerce and Digital space at Whirlpool Corporation.
This role is in the Global Information Systems e-commerce & Marketing team and will mainly support Whirlpool North America (US, Canada) as well expected to collaborate and coordinate with groups across the globe.
Your responsibilities will include
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work as one member of the scrum team, peer colleagues, and quality specialist hands-on coding, design, test and architecture to deliver best solutions
- Works with hybris Team Lead in creating technical design documents
- Interpret business requirements into actionable development tasks
- Developing/customizing OCC layer, APIS and SOLR
- Hands on experience with Hybris tools including Back Office, Hybris Administration Console, and other cockpits
- Knowledge of SOLR search engine and adaptive search using Facet Values and sorts
- Experience on integrating various external systems
- Proficient in Hybris foundational concepts with experience and knowledge of multichannel architecture, data modelling with Hybris, Data exchange and integration
- Creation of Cron Jobs and Importing and Exporting Data from External Systems
- Hands on experience or knowledge of the new functionality introduced in latest versions, such as the rule engine, Promotion Engine, Product Cockpit, Back office framework and Smart Edit
- Tasks include analysis and design, writing Java code, performing unit testing including troubleshooting performance problems, and implementing bug fixes
Minimum requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3+ years of SAP Commerce (Hybris) experience is required with a strong Java background
- Experience with eCommerce systems and/or Product Information Systems or other enterprise level solutions (ERP, CRM, or other relevant web applications)
- Strong experience with developing/customizing OCC layer, APIS and SOLR
- Experience on various Client/Server, Distributed and Web applications, having real time exposure on SAP Hybris Commerce suite, Core platform like Data modeling, HAC (Hybris admiration console), Back office (Next generation cockpit) Product Content and Catalog Management, personalization, Business Processes, Backoffice customization IMPEX, Flexible Search
- Experience with various code management and continuous integration tools
- Experience with complete application development life- cycle including requirements gathering, analysis, and design, development, integration, testing, deployment, maintenance, and support
- Experience in driving development using Agile/ Scrum processes and ability to drive complex estimates and to effectively communicate risks and dependencies
- Experience in writing & maintaining technical designs, functional designs and integration documentation
- Experience with source control and change control practices
- Experience with actively adapting the SAP Commerce / Hybris build process to CI / CD process and technology such as Jenkins
- Good to have knowledge on the latest version of Hybris, hybris patch upgrade and version upgrade.

2.Experience in catalog, order management, pricing, promotions, internationalization, personalization, B2C, and B2B commerce.
3. Experience with Web Services (REST/ SOAP)

5.Knowledge of developing APIs and customizations in a Headless commerce Architecture
