As a Global Information Systems SAP Commerce / HYBRIS Lead Developer your role is to act under moderate direction, performing activities including hands on solution design, development, code review.Need to be  hands on technical delivery as an individual contributor and involve in active technical support as it relates to both day to day operations as well as moderately complex projects & enhancements in the eCommerce and Digital space at Whirlpool Corporation.  

This role is in the Global Information Systems e-commerce & Marketing team and will mainly support Whirlpool North America (US, Canada) as well expected to collaborate and coordinate with groups across the globe.

Your responsibilities will include

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
 

  • Work as one member of the scrum team, peer colleagues, and quality specialist hands-on coding, design, test and architecture to deliver best solutions
  • Works with hybris Team Lead in creating technical design documents
  • Interpret business requirements into actionable development tasks
  • Developing/customizing OCC layer, APIS and SOLR
  • Hands on experience with Hybris tools including Back Office, Hybris Administration Console, and other cockpits

  • Proficient in Hybris foundational concepts with experience and knowledge of multichannel architecture, data modelling with Hybris, Data exchange and integration

  • Hands on experience or knowledge of the new functionality introduced in latest versions, such as the rule engine, Promotion Engine, Product Cockpit, Back office framework and Smart Edit

  • Experience with various code management and continuous integration tools

  • Experience in driving development using Agile/ Scrum processes  and ability to drive complex estimates and to effectively communicate risks and dependencies

  • Experience with actively adapting the SAP Commerce / Hybris build process to CI / CD process and technology such as Jenkins
