Bodoland University Assam is seeking applications from eligible candidates for the position of Guest Faculty in Chemistry. Established under the Bodoland University Act, 2009 by the Assam Legislative Assembly, Bodoland University has been pivotal in the educational landscape of lower Assam since its inception on 28th February 2009. Situated in the western part of Assam, it is the sole institution of higher education catering to the region’s developmental and educational needs. The university is dedicated to fostering academic growth in lower Assam and the Bodoland Territorial Area Districts (BTAD), providing a platform for higher studies to the local populace.

Qualification & Experience:
- A Master’s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever grading system is followed) in Chemistry or a related/allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from a recognized foreign university.
- Candidates must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or similar tests accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET. Alternatively, candidates who have been awarded a Ph.D. degree as per UGC regulations 2009 or 2016 are exempted from NET/SLET/SET.
Salary: Rs. 1000/- per hour
Selection Procedure: Candidates are required to attend a walk-in-interview on 25th July 2024 at 10:30 AM.
