Oil India Limited, Assam, is seeking applications from eligible candidates for the following contractual positions in its Well Logging Dept:
Name of Post: Contractual Well Logging Operator
Number of Posts: 3
Qualification & Experience:
- For Diploma Holders:
- Passed Class 10 from Government Recognized Education Board.
- Passed 3 years Diploma in any Engineering discipline from Government recognized Polytechnic.
- Minimum 5 years post-qualification work experience in Well Logging activities.
- Knowledge and experience in Open Hole/Cased Hole Logging Operations, winch operation, tool calibration, pre-job preparation, tool selection, and SOPs for handling explosives and radioactive sources.
- Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License.
- For Science Graduates:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science stream from Government Recognized University.
- Minimum 5 years post-qualification work experience in Well Logging activities.
- Similar knowledge and experience as above.
- Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License.
Name of Post: Contractual Well Logging Assistant Operator
Number of Posts: 4
Qualification & Experience:
- Passed Class 10 from Government Recognized Education Board.
- Trade certificate in Diesel Mechanic/ Fitter / Electrician / Turner/ Welder / Motor Mechanic / Machinist Trade from Government Recognized Institute.
- Minimum 3 years post-qualification work experience in Well Logging activities.
- Experience in assisting Open Hole/Cased Hole Logging Operations, pre-job preparation, tool selection, and knowledge of handling explosives and radioactive sources.
Selection Procedure: Candidates are required to appear for a walk-in-interview on 4th July 2024 at Employee Welfare Office, Nehru Maidan, Oil India Limited, Duliajan, Assam. Registration will be open from 7:00 A.M. to 9:00 A.M.
