The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati, Assam, is seeking applications from qualified individuals for recruitment to the post of Associate Project Engineer on a contractual basis. This role is under the project titled “National Initiative for Setting up Design Innovation Center (DIC)” within the Department of Design. Established in 1994, IIT Guwahati is the sixth member of the IIT community, with its academic programs commencing in 1995. The Institute currently encompasses eleven departments, seven interdisciplinary academic centers, and five schools covering a broad spectrum of disciplines including engineering, science, healthcare, management, and humanities.

Essential Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Engineering/Design with 1st Class or equivalent grade of at least 60%.
- Minimum of 1 year of work experience in any sponsored R&D project or relevant industry.
Desirable Skills:
- Willingness to travel and attend meetings as required by the project.
- Experience in preparing and exhibiting posters and prototypes at exhibitions.
- Proficiency in record keeping, preparation of Statements of Expenditure, and budget utilization.
- Competence in project report preparation.
