Assam Career 2025 : The Steel Authority of India (SAIL) is seeking applications from qualified candidates for the recruitment of Consultants (Sports Coaches) on a tenure basis. The selected candidates will serve in Bokaro and in SAIL’s various mines located in Jharkhand:

Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Diploma or higher degree in Sports Coaching from Netaji Subhas National Institute of Sports (NSNIS).
- Sports Achievement:
- Medal winner or participant in National Sports Events/Games representing an Indian state.
- Medal winner or participant in International Sports Events/Games representing India.
- Experience: Minimum 15 years of coaching experience in the respective sports discipline. Specific certifications/licenses as required for each sport will be considered.
Job Roles
- Coaching Responsibilities:
- Train cadets at SAIL Sports Centres, including SAIL Football Academy, Bokaro, and Day Boarding Centers.
- Engage in approved sports disciplines such as Basketball and Archery.
- Administrative Roles:
- Assist with office/fieldwork for the Sports Department.
- Support in organizing sports events conducted by BSL.
- Work Hours: 6 hours/day for 6 days/week (adjustments in rates apply for variations).
Selection Procedure
Candidates are required to attend a Walk-in-Interview:
- Date: 11th January 2025
- Time: Registration from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
- Venue: SAIL Football Academy, Sector 3, Bokaro Steel City

Eligible candidates must attend the walk-in interview with the following documents:
- Filled Application Format (Annexure-I) with a recent passport-size color photograph.
- Educational Certificates: Original and self-attested photocopies.
- Experience Certificate: Relevant post-qualification experience certificates or service certificate (for retired employees).
- Sports Achievements Proof: Certificates for participation/accreditation in sports events.
- Proof of Date of Birth: Matriculation certificate.
- Photo Identity Proof: Voter ID, PAN, Aadhar Card, Driving License, or Passport.
- Caste Certificate: For OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates, submit a valid certificate issued by a competent authority (after 01/04/2024).
