Assam Career : The Assam Electricity Regulatory Commission (AERC) invites applications from eligible candidates for the post of Staff Consultant (Finance). AERC works to promote competition, efficiency, and economic growth in Assam’s electricity industry while regulating power procurement and determining electricity tariffs in the state.

| Educational Qualification | Chartered Accountant/Cost Accountant/MBA (Finance)/MBA (Power Management). (Engineering/Science Graduation is an added advantage.) |
| Experience | – Minimum 3 years in infrastructure, banking, or large audit/consultancy firms. – Knowledge of accounting, forex, taxation, and financial principles. – Desirable: Experience in economic analysis, modeling, and statistical techniques related to the power sector. |
| Salary | ₹60,000 per month (including taxes, if applicable). |
| Age Limit | Below 35 years as of 01.01.2025. |
| Selection Process | – Selection will be based on interaction, with a written exam if required. – Shortlisted candidates will be notified for further steps. – Final decision rests with the Commission. |
