Assam Career : National Institute of Technology (NIT) Silchar, Assam, invites applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment of Project Associate-I under a MEITY-sponsored project titled “Capacity Building for Human Resource Development in Unmanned Aircraft System (Drone and Related Technology)”. The project is housed in the Department of Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering.
NIT Silchar, established in 1967 as a Regional Engineering College and elevated to a National Institute of Technology in 2002, is one of India’s 31 NITs and is recognized as an Institute of National Importance under the NIT Act, 2007. The institute aims to create high-quality human and knowledge resources to meet global, national, and local technological needs sustainably.
