Asssam Career : Assam Agricultural University (AAU) is inviting applications from eligible candidates for the position of Research Associate-I under a Department of Biotechnology, Government of India research project. The project, titled “Generating high-depth genomics information for the Himalaya rice cultivars for improving nutritional quality and stress tolerance,” is based at the Assam Rice Research Institute (ARRI), Titabar.
The position is purely temporary, and the selected candidate will have no claims for regularization or future appointments.

Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification:
- PhD in Agriculture with specialization in Plant Breeding and Genetics or Biotechnology.
- At least one research paper in a Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal.
- Preference will be given to NET-qualified candidates.
