Gauhati University, one of Northeast India’s premier institutions of higher education, is inviting applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment of Teaching Associate(s) (on a purely temporary basis) in the Department of English. Established under the leadership of great Sanskrit scholar and philanthropist Krishna Kanta Handiqui, Gauhati University has been home to numerous illustrious alumni, including Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhupen Hazarika, Jnanpith Award Winner Mamoni Raisom Goswami, and Bhatnagar Awardee Dr. Jitendra Nath Goswami. Number of Posts: 2
Essential Qualification: MA in English with NET/SLET (as per UGC norms)
Remuneration: Rs. 27,000/- per month
Selection Procedure
Candidates will be selected through a walk-in interview scheduled for 26th March 2025, from 11 AM onwards. The interview will take place at the Conference Room of the Secretary, University Classes, Gauhati University Campus, Gauhati University-781011.
