Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

8 years of experience in partner management, business development, sales, consulting, or other related field.

Ability to speak and write in English fluently.

Preferred qualifications:

MBA or equivalent practical experience, such as management consulting.

Experience working with large, complex partners, especially in the e-commerce industry in India.

Experience working with Product and Engineering organizations for early stage product development/go-to-market.

Experience interpreting legal documents, discussing agreements, and working with legal team members to draft and execute agreements.

Understanding of YouTube products with the ability to quickly learn new technologies.

Ability to be an effective cross-functional leader, managing multiple C-level stakeholders within matrixed organizations.

Responsibilities

Define YouTube’s partnerships strategy for e-commerce related initiatives in the assigned countries in the region. Evaluate opportunities and drive ideas to execution.

Serve as the regional expert for the merchant partnerships program and work with regional/global leads to execute on strategy. Manage objectives and deliverables for driving partnerships and evaluating return on investment (ROI).

Contribute to YouTube Partnership initiatives in regional markets (e.g., develop/manage strategic partnerships, and cross-functional alignment with stakeholders).

Lead internal cross-functional engagement in the assigned markets to secure buy-in for partnerships and programs, including problem-solving for legal, policy, business, operational, and technical complexities, and collaborating with other business teams.

Act as a domain expert and thought leader for commerce areas. Understand market dynamics and landscapes.
